How Much Do Garage Doors Cost at Home Depot?
We found that the prices of the garage doors vary from location to location. There are many different sizes, designs, and colors available.
Single Garage Doors
The standard size for a single garage door is 8 x 7 feet, although there are other variations available. Insulated doors and doors with windows will come at a higher price. The prices below are for the door only. Installation will come at an additional cost.
1. For a uninsulated metal door, you should expect to pay between $225-275 per door.
2. For a door with some insulation (approx. R-value of 6), you should expect to pay about $350-400 per door.
3. For a garage door with even more insulation (R-12), you should expect to pay between $500-550 per door.
4. For a top-of-the-line insulated garage door (R-18), you can expect to pay about $800-1,000 per door.
Double Garage Doors
The standard size of a double garage door is 16 x 7 feet. You should expect to pay a little more for highly decorative doors and garage doors with windows or glass inserts. The prices below are for the door only. Installation will come at an additional cost.
1. For an uninsulated metal door, you should expect to pay a little under $600 for a double garage door at Home Depot.
2. For an insulated door for a two-car garage (R-13), you should expect to pay about $1,200.
3. For an insulated, 16 x 7 ft. garage door (R-18), it will cost between $1400-1,600 per door.
Keep in Mind: These prices do not account for the cost of installation or other accessories. A basic garage door opener, along with a keypad and remote, should run about $125-200 (not including installation).
